About Jax
Meet Jax,
This young man was surrendered to a pound after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He then sat there for over 3 months before he was put on death row. We got this sweet boy out of the pound and brought him into foster care.
Despite Jax having a rough time at the pound he is a mix of all things great! He has the sweetest nature, and is very affectionate. His foster mum thinks this will make him an amazing companion dog.
He is a very loyal boy, full of intelligence.
Being a young enthusiastic boy, he does have some puppy habits that he is still working on.
He is currently learning not to jump up when he's excited, which is getting better with time.
He does like to dig in his own little sandpit!
He is a very smart boy, and is very eager to learn and please. So this does make him very easy to train.
He knows his basic commands, is toilet trained and is crate trained.
Hes been attending group classes with our trainer and has shown alot of improvement!
He is your typical pup and can get bored.
Because of this he does need a home that will take him on walks, and give him lots of enrichment toys.
Because of his big bouncy nature he would suit a home with kids over 12. He does love kids, but just doesn't understand his size.
Hes currently in foster care with a few cats. He can be a bit chasey with them, but is learning to be calmer around them.
He loves other dogs. He's currently in foster carer with a dog similar size to him, and a small dog.
But he plays all day long with his foster brother!
He'd best suit a home with another dog.
He needs someone willing to continue his training so he can become the bestest boy.
If you're looking for a dog who's going to be the most loyal and loving companion, then Jax is your boy.
