About Rory
🐾 Meet Rory – Your Friendly, Cuddly Sidekick! 🐾
Looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will be your loyal friend through thick and thin? Rory is the one! This sweet, playful boy is ready to bring endless love and joy to your life. With his gentle nature and love for cuddles, Rory is the perfect addition to any home looking for a furry best friend.
📍 Foster Home: Killarney Heights
Name: Rory
Microchip No.: 991003002917602
Estimated Age: 3 years old
Gender: Male
Colour: Brown and White Tabby
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Rory is an absolute sweetheart who will steal your heart from the moment you meet him. Always the first to greet you when you enter a room, Rory loves lap cuddles, bedtime snuggles, and being your loyal companion. He’s also a big foodie who enthusiastically gulps down his meals and adores playtime with his toys. 🍽️🎾
Rory’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was rescued alongside his brother after their other sibling was tragically killed by a car. Despite enduring hardship, including having motor oil poured on him, which caused digestive issues, Rory has recovered beautifully. His bloodwork has returned to normal, however, his liver levels are still slightly elevated, but the vet is not concerned and expects these to return to normal shortly. Rory does require a sensitive digestive diet, but that doesn’t stop him from being the affectionate, playful boy he is today.
Now, Rory is ready for a loving forever home where he can shower his humans with affection and be the loyal, playful sidekick he’s meant to be.

Adoption details
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house, and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups, and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat-proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you peace of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about the expense.
We start by emailing you either our adoption questionnaire or the online link to it. We like to have a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. We also request a video tour of your home with an emphasis on safety features including screens, windows, and balconies. We also like to see where your new kitty will eat and sleep. Once the online form has been completed, the next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the kitty at his or her foster home.
Sometimes if everything has been approved and the adoption agreement has been signed, our kitties can be taken home from the meet dnd greet. Otherwise, once everything is in order, arrangements are made for you to either collect or take delivery of your kitty. All adoptions are subject to a two-week settling-in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee. All kitties are fully vetted and lifetime registered and all necessary information is provided. Transfer of ownership is completed within 30 days.
