Hiya Everyone! I'm Swiss aka Swiss Cheese,

I've had a bit of a tough start, so I haven't had all the 'normal dog' experiences like many others. Because of that, I can get a little nervous about random things, and I might be shy about coming inside at first since I'm still getting the hang of home life. I also like to explore with my mouth, so sometimes I get a bit confused about what's yummy and what's not! (I like to eat soft toy) But even with all that, I've got SO much love to give!

It might take me a little time to warm up to you, but with some gentle love and patience, I'll be your best friend in no time!

Cuddles? Yes, please! I'm a retriever, after all, and that means I'm a huge fan of snuggling. although it might take me some time to warm up! I also have a thick double coat that loves to get all muddy (I just can't resist the water and the mud!), so I need some regular brushing to keep me looking my best.

Can go home with another dog! But a meet and greet will be required to make sure they get along!

I can't wait to meet you and share all my love and cuddles with you!

ABOUT ME:

Very loving and will attach to your side and adore you forever!

Can be nervous with close handling and loud noises, so I'll need an owner who understands my fears and is patient with me.

A comfy denning area, both inside and outside, where I can feel safe and cozy, would be perfect for me!
