About Ebony
Beautiful Ebony is such a friendly, cuddly little girl. She loves to snuggle up in bed with you, hang out on your lap while you're working, and generally just be around you. When you pat her she purrs like a steam train! She'll bump you with her little wet nose until you give her attention - she's pretty insistent!
She loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters. As usual - it's the cheap things that are the most fun. Empty boxes, lolly wrappers that the human kids in the house have left around, pretty much anything that dangles...you get the idea. Cat beds are a total waste as human beds are way better (particularly when there's humans in the bed).
She's great with kids, other cats and dogs (her foster home has it all) so really nothing fazes her. She'd be great in any home really!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
