About Pepa
Introducing Pepa, a charming miniature short-haired Dachshund born on October 18, 2024. He's a petite fella and displays all the hallmarks of a fantastic pet for both individuals and families alike.
Currently residing in a rural foster home, Pepa enjoys the company of an eclectic mix of cats, dogs, chooks, horses, and cattle. His foster mum fondly describes him as "super cuddly and adorable," perfectly capturing the essence of this lovable little pup.
In keeping with his breed, Pepa has a social nature and an unbridled passion for snuggling. Whether it's participating in your daily activities or cozily burrowing under a blanket, Pepa thrives in the company of his humans. He also has a playful side and enjoys the company of the other dogs at his foster home. A typical pup, he's also going through a chewing and digging phase.
Despite his small stature, Pepa has the vigilant and lively demeanor of his breed. When he needs to be, he's quite the little watchdog and like his ancestors, who were bred to flush out badgers and other burrow-dwelling animals, he will develop a brave and bold side, too. A dynamic bundle of joy, this pup will keep you on your toes and provide dedicated companionship.
Pepa's ideal home is one where he's never too far away from his humans or a canine buddy. He may be small, but he'll require plenty of mental stimulation and physical activity to remain content and healthy. It's crucial to note that Pepa is not suited to lengthy periods of isolation. He is a companion dog and his happiness depends on being with those he loves.
Perfect for those in search of a snuggly and lively companion, Pepa is ready for his new home. He's offered for adoption undesexed on the condition that he will be desexed when age appropriate at our expense (subject to terms and conditions).
In some of the photos, Pepa is pictured with his brother Roney (already adopted). Pepa is smaller than his brother and has a darker muzzle.
