Meet Maybelle!

At a young age, Maybelle has found herself in the shelter. She is finding shelter life a little stressful, but all that stress melts away when she is brought out to the yard to play! Being young, Maybelle has lots of energy to burn and she loves running laps in the yard, sniffing around and exploring and trying to find any hidden treats anywhere she can!

Maybelle is a big foodie and has a great nose for always finding where the food is at. She is SUPER food motivated and will genuinely do anything for a snack. She has learnt basic commands like sit and stay but she definitely has a lot more to learn. Her new home will need to be committed to continuing her training and teaching her how to control her impulses- she is only a young gal after all who is figuring it all out.

Maybelle's new home would ideally be one where any children are secondary aged and above due to her not really understanding all four of her paws need to stay on the floor! She may be a bit too bouncy and jumpy for younger children. She wouldn't mind living with another well- matched dog, so if you think you have a new sibling for her, please ensure any dogs in the home are present for the meet and greet.
