George

George is a lovely orange three-year-old male cat. He had to fend for himself and was fed by friendly neighbour for two years after being abandoned.
Since having George in our care, he has been introduced into our house with our existing two cats and has become a welcome house and home office companion of us and our own cats.
George is almost always nearby. Though not a lap cat he loves to stay close and follow us from room to room. George enjoys the occasional self-initiated snuggle and occasionally joins us on the bed or the sofa.
George loves being gently scratched around his head and ears. He doesn’t mind being picked up and carried and he doesn’t mind being patted. He responds when called.
In between sessions of eating and sleeping George likes to explore and play. He likes being indoors and outdoors. He very much enjoys sleeping on his favourite box next to a window-sill during the day or on his favourite piece of carpet in the living room during the evening. He also spends time sleeping on a favourite corner of my desk at times during the day while I am working.
George loves chicken and cheese treats. He is very clean cat and always uses the cat litter.
George is physically a very strong cat and has a boisterous side. He is usually gentle and quiet but when playing or threatened his boisterous manner comes out. George has his limits but appropriately indicates when these are reached with a gentle bite or bat of the paw.
George would be well suited to a single person or couple with a quiet home and who spend a lot of time at home and would enjoy the companionship of a house cat.
