About Sammie
Sammie has not had a very good start to life, or happy life in general it seems so far.
Found as a stray & pregnant no one came forward to claim her.
Whether it was her first litter or she had had puppies previously we dont know.
Luckily she was transferred to a holding facility where she gave birth to the cutest puppies (naturally) She then came into the care of CCAR.
She was a very good mum, very protective of her babies, considering she had obviously not known much love or kindness in her life previously.
Sammie can be quite shy with new people & hide behind those she trusts until she realises that not every one is going to hurt her.
She is very loving & loyal to those who she has learned to depend on & feel comfortable with.
She is developing into such a pretty dog, now that her puppies are weaned, she is on a good balanced diet & her coat is glowing with health.
Sammie actually has a proud aura about her, showing against every thing she has survived & intends to live out her best life.
She needs a calm quiet home where she will be able to continue with her confidence building & she can develop into all she can be.
She is certainly one of my favourite rescues & as such deserves only the best home!

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
