Fella - 2 Year Old Cattle Dog (On Trial)

Adoption home or Foster Carer needed for Fella

Fella is an almost 2 year old Blue Cattle dog. Fella is a friendly confident boy who has lots of energy. His new home needs to have plenty of space to run and his new family needs to be committed to meeting his exercise needs and providing mental stimulation. Experience in the breed or other working breed would be a big plus.

Fella knows basic commands including sit, stay and wait. He is also toilet trained. He gets very excited on walks and initially may pull to explore smells. He does settle as the walk progresses and can walk on a loose lead. He will bark and pull if he sees another dog on a walk. He could do with some more training walking on a lead to manage the initial excitement. He should improve with a consistent walking routine, He is a very smart boy.

While he lives with another dog and regularly socialised with neighbouring dogs, he can be dominant and isn’t well suited to other dominant dogs. Ideally, we are looking for a home with no other dogs. If there is another dog a slow introduction is required.

Fella is currently primarily an outside dog, but would love the opportunity to come inside in his foster or forever home. He occasionally been able to go to work with his current owner which he loves as he just loved to be around you. He would love a home where he won’t be left alone for full time hours.

Fella Overview

Fella is currently living with his owners near Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $500 and he am desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms.
