About Mia
Calling all our big breed dog lovers!
Let us introduce the most beautiful young lady - Mia is a pup is a American bulldog x staffy who is just a baby ready to start her life with her people.
Mia is a 12-week-old baby girl
Mia has come into care from a private surrender.
Mia's foster mum has said she is the sweetest girl whose good looks match her sweet personality. When Mia sees her people, she gives a whole-body wag to say hello and show her love.
Mia is currently with other dogs and while shy when she first meets them, she learnt very quickly to join in on the wrestling, tug-of-war and then curling up to sleep with them. She would love a home where there was another fur friend (dog) to play with but also to snuggle up with when tired.
Mia is doing very well with learning her manners (including sit and wait for food) - Mia is not lead trained due to her age and needing her vaccinations, but we believe will love to learn and be with her people
Mia is about 85% toilet trained and is using the doggy door.
Mia currently weights 11.8kgs
Mia also loves to have access outside and inside - and loves to play outside and do some sunbaking.
Mia is good with kids but please remember she will grow bigger and therefore will need to continue with training on how to be around them or they will need to learn to bounce or be happy to sometimes be put on their butt accidentally.
Mia has been introduced to cats and wants to be their friend and bounce around them
Mia would love a home where she included and happy to spend as much time with her humans as possible either out walking or going for a drive or snuggling on the couch watching tv especially after a big day of play.
Mia would definitely be an inside dog as much as possible and would happily sleep on your bed or a dog bed in your room.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
