About Moose
Cheeky chappy Bruce is the full package: he is handsome, smart, affectionate & playful.... need we go on?!
Having had a rough start to life, he unfortunately experienced cruelty & neglect in the first few months of his life, but he's not letting that stop him from putting his best paw forward & looking to a forever home with a loving family.
Bruce has that special sort of Yin/Yang mix, being a combo of kelpie & rottie - you get the best of both worlds!
He arrived at the shelter in pretty poor condition, but with good food, regular exercise, sunshine & lots of lots & lots of love, he is beginning to thrive & glow! He still has a bit of growing to do, but he is now filling out nicely & turning into the dog that he was meant to be.
Bruce could live with another dog & so if you already share your life with a canine companion, we suggest that they meet prior to adoption just to ensure that they can be buddies.
Due to his traumatic past, Bruce can sometimes feel a bit nervous of sudden movements or noises so his new guardian may need to give him some time to settle in to his new surroundings. Slow, positive introductions to new people, places & experiences will allow him time to process his environment & make favourable associations in order to build his confidence.
Bruce has the potential to be the bestest boy!
