About Akari
Guess who’s ready to take expression’s of interest!
Miss Akari our utterly adorable 4 year old Japanese Chin is ready for expressions of interest. This means you can complete our adoption application, we will asses, before arranging a meet and greet.
Applications - www.abcrescue.com.au
Use Akari’s name as reference.
Akari is a beautiful, sweet, playful young girl, she weighs in at a fatty 4kgs (so far away from the tiny 2kgs when she first arrived), she looks dainty and gentle but my goodness does she love to rough and tumble. Akari loves her other dogs, big, small she doesn’t care, she will initiate play, beg them to play and when they finally give in she’ll play for hours, she loves chasey, tug you as well.
When Akari isn’t playing she’ll spend her time snoozing and cuddling on your lap.
Akari isn’t a shy girl, she’s forward in asking for pats that’s everyone for pats and love. She adores the children even the 11month old she tries to initiate play with.
Akari needs to be an inside girl and would love a little yard to run around in, she is still working on her house training but with her background of unfortunately being a kennel dog this has taken a little longer than usual.
Akari is still recovering from her skin/coat issues but with her skin looking wonderful she still has some coat staining.
Akari is a brachycephalic breed of dog and research should be done on the breed and Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome prior to applying.
Adoption fee $1800
Medical notes
Dental - Akari had 16 teeth removed.
Umbilical Hernia - This was repaired with her desexing procedure.
