About Zuri
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (any age)
Calm & quiet home
Inside only
Meet Zuri,
Zuri is a sweet kitten who’s a little shy but also a little playful! She is the perfect choice for all kinds of families, even those with young kids. Zuri may be a little reserved at first but she can transform into a social and playful girl if given the time to settle & warm up to you.
Zuri has a very easy going personality, although she may be timid at times, her timidity is very mild - but it's important to note this because she may at times show a more reserved side of herself every now and again. Overall, Zuri is playful & affectionate but big movements may overwhelm her a little. When this happens she may just need a bit of time to get her confidence back again.
Just like all kittens, Zuri would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. She should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that she grow up big and strong.
Zuri should be strictly indoors. Reason for this is due to her slight timidity. Going outside may undo all the progress that she has made since coming into our care. The outside world is big & can be scary for a small kitten.
Zuri is already litter trained, but it’s best to show her where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.
Can you open your heart and home to a sweet, playful kitty like Zuri?

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
