About 11098 - Loki
🌟🌟 APRIL LONELY HEARTS CLUB STAR 🌟🌟
🧡⚡️ MEET LOKI ⚡️🧡
Hi, my name is Loki and I am the perfect gentleman.
Nature
I’m a confident, charming boy who adores people and makes everyone feel instantly at home. I’ll greet visitors at the door with my purr rumbling like a little engine, offer nose boops and gentle kisses, then settle nearby to snooze while keeping an eye on the action. At night, after a quick patrol to make sure everything’s in order, I’ll join you for a cosy sleep in company.
I’m a sociable, easy going senior with a young heart. I’m curious about my surroundings, often doing “patrols” to check for any exciting changes around the house. While my bursts of play are short lived these days, my calm, watchful presence more than makes up for it. I love to lounge in sunny spots, watch the world drift by, and share quiet companionship.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’ve met children but I do best with teens and adults who give me space when I ask for it. When overstimulated, I use a gentle mouth or paw to communicate — nothing that leaves a mark, but enough to make young kids unsure.
I prefer human company to feline, finding kitten antics a bit much. I’d be happiest as an only cat, though with a gentle, older housemate and proper introductions, I could settle into a truce. I currently share my foster home with a large, respectful dog and take it in stride.
Likes / Dislikes
Food is my great passion — wet meals twice a day, biscuits for grazing, and treats of all kinds (creamy snacks, Temptations, cheese… I’ll always find room for more). I enjoy cat grass and outdoor time in a cat run, but am equally content by a window or open door, catching scents and watching the world go by.
While I welcome everyone warmly, I have a special fondness for men — happily following them about or climbing onto their laps given half the chance.
My PURR-fect home would be as an only cat (or possibly with a calm, older cat after slow introductions). I’d be fine with a respectful dog. I’d thrive with at least one male human in the household for “bro time”. I could happily be the heart of a bachelor pad, offering unconditional love and loyal company!
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Loki suffers from Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (or Feline lower urinary tract disease FLUTD), which is a condition that can affect the urinary bladder and/or urethra (the lower urinary tract) of cats. Loki will need to be monitored for any signs of difficulty urinating, or blood in his urine. He may or may not require sporadic treatment for UTIs throughout his life, which may involve antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. Loki requires a prescription C/D urinary stress diet, and needs to be encouraged to drink water. He requires medicating daily with Clomav to assist with anxiety, this may not be required once he has settled into a new home.
Loki suffers from stress-related overgrooming, he will need a quiet, stable home without young children and with low pet numbers. This condition is currently under control and doesn’t require any treatment.
Loki has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Loki will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. Loki had a dental scale and polish in December 2024 with removal of two teeth, he may need additional teeth extracted in the future.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.
