About Dexter
Meet Dexter! Dexter came into care as a solo stray kitten. He is a sweet little kitten, who loves to play and cuddle. He can be quite timid at first, but it doesn’t take long for him to feel safe in your arms. Dexter has a lot of love to give, he adoringly nuzzles in and looks lovingly into your eyes. A real little Casanova! Dexter has been living with three other adult cats and has been socialising well. He is curious and loves to explore his surroundings. He spends his days running along the back of the lounge, sneaking up on his cat friends, napping in the sunshine, and playing with his favourite toys (he loves the balls with bells in them). Dexter will bring a lot of joy with his cute, playful, and sweet nature to his new home. Dexter will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like the meet Dexter, he will be attending our adoption day on Sunday the 19th of January at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
