About Roxy
Meet Roxy (Formerly Known As #100)
Hey everyone, remember that pound-dwelling mystery pup they used to call #100? Well, guess what ..I've got a name now, and it's Roxy!
I'm a tan-tastic staffy x kelpie mix, and I'm approximately one year old, which in dog years, I'm told is "peak zoomies." I've traded my rural pound digs for a comfy foster home in Warner, North Brisbane, and let me tell you, the upgrade is something else 😊
I'm a friendly, playful bundle of energy that loves being outside, and I'm on the lookout for my forever humans. I'm a beautiful and loveable girl, and mostly gentle, but sometimes I get a little too excited (think happy jumping).
I'm currently living with a 4yo Jack Russell, and while we get along great, sometimes my play style is a little "rough and tumble" for him. Ideally, I'd love a similar-sized, energetic buddy to wrestle with.
I'm perfectly happy snoozing in my crate at night, but during the day? Oh, I'd be a world-class lap dog if only laps came in larger sizes.
When you’ve got a good chew it's hard to resist, but sometimes I have trouble telling my chew toys from non-chew things… my foster family says learning ‘what’s mine and not’ is a ‘work in progress’.
I've been around 5-year-old kids and seem totally fine, and while I've met a cat (through a screen door, mind you) and shown interest, there’s been no chase, just a bit of a “what is that?” stare.
My foster parents say I need a big yard to run around in and an active family to keep up with me. I promise to pay you back with all the loyalty and love.
Oh yeah, and I’m a solid 28kg of pure joy.
The important stuff? I'm fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date with my flea and worm treatments. The snip-snip was on hold because of a little "lady situation," but that's all sorted now and my desexing is included in my adoption fee of $595 (and will be done at one of "The Village" vet partners).
So, if you’re ready for a goofy, playful, and loyal companion, I’m your girl. Come on down to Warner, Brisbane and let's see if we're a match!

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
