About Ohtani
* In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Meet Ohtani, a spirited and confident feline with the softest golden coat that practically begs for affectionate strokes. This playful and people-focused kitty will quickly win your heart with their charm and engaging personality. Ohtani has a knack for bringing smiles to everyone he meets, showcasing an irresistible blend of energy and affectionate calm.
Ohtani's start in life was rough. Rescued by a concerned member of public after he and his siblings, 4 tiny sick kittens were found in a box dumped in a park in Bexley on a stormy Sydney weekend. The kittens were in a terrible state and suffering from extreme cat flu. They were rushed to Maggie's Rescue for treatment. With some veterinary care and love, Ohtani and his siblings have made remarkable recoveries and Ohtani is now ready for his forever home. While Ohtani is now healthy and well, his previous symptoms indicate he has calicivirus, a common cat flu virus prevalent in all cat populations. He is of low risk to other fully vaccinated cats in the home but it is possible that he may have flu flare ups in the future. He is of no risk to people or dogs.
Whether it's frolicking around the house or indulging in a cozy nap, Ohtani enjoys life to the fullest. After a day full of playful antics, rest assured this lovely feline will seek cuddle time when they are ready to settle down. His nature makes them an excellent companion for families with children as well as homes with other pets, as they get along splendidly with both cats and will be great with cat-friendly dogs.
If you are looking for a friendly, fun-loving addition to your family who will bring joy to both the two-legged and four-legged members of your household, Ohtani is ready to bring lots of love and entertainment to their future new family.
Like all Maggie's pets, Ohtani is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I’m a confident, adaptable kitten who would thrive in a loving home. Since I’m young and full of curiosity, I’d be happiest with a buddy to play with or a friendly resident cat in my new home. If you’re home often, that’s perfect because I’ll always enjoy your company!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to play with toys and explore and climb the cat tower, but I’m also a big fan of naps. After a fun session of chasing my feather toy or wrestling with my siblings, I’ll be ready to curl up for a cozy snooze—preferably in your lap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I haven’t met with little ones yet, my confident and social nature suggests I’d fit right in with a family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: With a proper introduction to a cat-friendly pup, I think we could be good friends. I adore playing with my littermates, so I’d love a kitty companion to keep me company.
If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten to brighten your days, Ohtani is the perfect match. Could you be his forever family? 🏡❤️
