Fitzroy is a delightful, happy & friendly young man who loves everyone that he meets. He is a very active boy, who despite having low vision does not let this affect him in any way. He can definitely see things but uses his sense of smell & hearing extremely well. He would always need to be on a lead whilst out and probably no off leash areas.
He is currently living with 3 other small dogs & gets on really well with them all. He would love to live with a similar age & size dog. Being still a puppy & very smart, he would benefit from formal training. He also loves a daily walk and sleeps all night in a crate

Medical notes
Fitzroy has been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. He is currently on 2 types of daily eye drops that will need to continue(possibly for the rest of his life) & the cost for both these medications is approx. $30/month. A script is written by the Vet & you can buy from your local chemist.
The Eye Vet has seen Fitzroy several times and there has been no change in his eye condition in the past 4 months. This may change in the future & he may require an operation on the eye to remove the cataracts. Please consider this if you are interested in adopting him.
A copy of the most recent Vet report on his eyes will be provided to the Adopter.
