About Sprocket
Meet Sprocket! Sprocket is a black-and-white boy who was rescued by some firemen after getting stuck in the hood of a car. Luckily, he didn’t get hurt! Sprocket can be a bit shy at first, and he prefers to take my time getting to know new people and situations. Loud noises and sudden movements can scare him, so he is best suited to a quiet home so can feel safe and secure. Once Sprocket trusts you, he’ll show you what a sweet boy he can be! He loves chin scratches, slow pats and especially the squeezy tube treats. If you’re patient and understanding, you’ll see how amazing he is and he will be your friend forever!! He has been in a foster home with other kittens and resident cats and got along well! Sprocket will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like the meet Sprocket, he will be attending our adoption day on Sunday the 19th of January at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
