Edric is a special boy, looking for a special home. He will be a great companion dog and loves to go on his morning walk where he trots along on a loose lead.

His new home will need to understand that he is not a lap dog and does not like to be cuddled. He will need a confident, calm & experienced owner who will allow him plenty of time to settle in and not let him on the lounge or bed. If you want him to do something that he does not want to do, he may try to nip you and for this reason, he is not suitable in a home where children live or visit. He can be anxious meeting new people but once he knows them, he is fine.

As mentioned earlier, Edric’s favourite part of the day is his morning walk, he gets so excited and absolutely loves it. If you cannot do this 30 minute walk, please do not apply for him.

Edric is currently living with 3 other small dogs & is fine with them (as long as they are not in his face) & would really love to live with another small, older, chilled dog. He sleeps inside on his bed next to the bed where his foster carer sleeps. He also has a bed in the lounge room that he will sleep on throughout the day.

He will require regular professional grooming to keep him looking great (every 8 weeks or so). He does need a little bit of work on his toilet training as he can mark inside but since being desexed this is getting better.

Edric is a wonderful boy who just needs someone to understand him. Could this be you?
