About Chyna
Meet our gorgeous, affectionate, friendly, cuddle bunny, tiny toy poodle Chyna.
Our little Princess is a little Red Toy Poodle weighing in at just 3.7 kilos of loveable fun.
This little girl will melt anyone’s heart and has a temperament to die for! She is such a happy, gentle, sweet, and loveable little girl full of funny antics. She loves when the kids are playing inside or outside so she can get involved and follow them around the backyard lol She is also happy entertaining herself by throwing or chasing her toys around the house or in the backyard. She will quite happily carry her toys around both inside and outside. She does love getting lots of pats and cuddles and in particular belly rubs- she will throw herself on the floor for one lol she’s such a smooch, she will sit there for hours for attention.
Chyna loves to be involved with her foster family whether it’s, following her foster mum around the house or playing with the kids. As soon as you sit on the couch, she is right there on your lap waiting for cuddles and pats. She LOVES her walks but can sometimes get startled with loud noises but, this is constantly improving, she is still learning on the lead and can sometimes cross over in front of you. She loves her foster family to play with her toys with her. She also loves a cuddle on the couch when the house settles for the night and, as mentioned above she especially LOVES tummy rubs. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and doesn’t have a nasty bone in her body whatsoever.
Chyna has also had a full dental completed
Chyna absolutely adores all humans whether they’re male, female, kids or adults and even strangers. She greets everyone with excitement and can’t wait for a pat or rub on the tummy to say hello. She’s excellent with the kids but can be a little jumpy at the start but she will always settle and be very gentle towards them. She can be cheeky and try to pinch food from kids the same size as her, but she’ll do it with a very gentle tactic. lol
Chyna hasn’t had a lot of training and needs a patient family to teach her to sit, stay etc but she is very food motivated. Chyna is still learning her name so her recall will need to be continued to work on; l. Her family will need to help her with toilet training as she has had the odd accident inside if you’re not paying attention to her and forget to take her outside. She sleeps in a crate in the lounge room every night and will quietly go straight to sleep. She has also slept on the bed with her foster brothers some nights which she loves and didn’t have an accident overnight but, she needs to be let out first thing in the morning when you wake up. Chyna travels perfectly in the car and is just happy to sit there and enjoy the ride with you. She might have a little cry when she first gets in but then settles very quickly. She hasn’t shown any signs of getting car sick.
Chyna has been in foster care with cats, and she couldn’t care less about them lol She likes to run up to them and have a sniff and will sometimes try to snuggle up to the cat. Chyna is dog friendly and does like to have a play as she’s only a young girl herself. She hasn’t shown any signs of nastiness while being in foster care and is very submissive towards any K9 friend she meets.
Chyna loves her food and treats and can be a fussy eater. She has two meals a day which consists of both wet and dry food. She loves roast chicken, and any leftovers mixed with her dry food.
Chyna has no problem being left alone in the backyard if she has toys to play with. She’s very cute to watch and entertain herself. She looks after her toys very well and doesn’t destroy them. She has also been known to pinch your slippers inside and take them out to the lounge room for you- without wrecking them. Lol She has on occasion barked at the neighbours if she hears something out of the ordinary.
Chyna was a little angel when she got bathed. She literally just stood in the laundry sink while she was shampooed and conditioned. She really enjoyed the massage and of course the attention. Chyna has the typical poodle coat which means she will need regular grooming to make sure she is always comfortable with her coat and regular brushing to make sure she doesn’t get mattered. She has also just been professionally groomed and was well behaved but not a fan of her feet being shaved.
Chyna sleeps in the lounge room at nighttime in her crate. She’s a very good girl when it’s bedtime, she goes straight in her crate when asked and patiently waits for her bedtime treat. She makes no noises through the night unless she needs to go outside for the toilet. Chyna has also slept on the bed with her human foster brothers which she much prefers. She loves to be close to her humans and snuggles in like a baby.
Chyna loves her daily walks. She’s a pleasure to lead and loves to check out the world around her. As she is only small, she doesn’t need long hourly walks but does enjoy the change of scenery. She also loves you playing with her and throwing her toys in the backyard- that’s one of her favourite things to do.
Chyna loves to be your shadow either inside or outside. She loves to be inside with her family and is an inside girl, she will require a patient family to remember to give her regular toilet breaks as her happy time is inside with her family. She does get a little excited and runs in each room to check what everyone is doing- especially the kids. You couldn’t get a sweeter girl if you tried
Chyna’s ideal home is to be with a family that’s home often or, where she can go on adventures with you. A home where she can be an inside dog and have regular walks each day. She wouldn’t mind sharing a home with another K9 friend who is easy going and submissive just like her. Chyna needs a home with a patient and kind family to continue with toilet training her and allow her to be an inside family member. Her new home MUST provide lots of love, tummy pats and cuddles and be prepared for lots of kisses. She’s such a gentle and loveable girl who deserves nothing but the best. She will keep you entertained and give her new family lots of love and laughs.
