About Alfie - 9 week old Cattle x Poodle (Trial)
Alfie, 9 week old, cattle dog x poodle, is an affectionate and loving little puppy who will melt your heart. He is an active, daring pup who is confident and bold while still loving a snuggle and cuddle.
Alfie loves exploring and adventuring in his new garden and has puppy energy to play with his siblings and tease his big brother. He is playful, fearless and super smart.
Alfie is your typical puppy who is learning his still learning by experimenting and testing everything.
Since being in foster care, Alfie has learnt to use the doggy door and use the stairs up and down. Alfie loves to run around the large yard, climbing up and down, around all the different levels. This gives him exercise and wears him out. It also helps him sleep through the night.
Alfie currently lives with 4 large adult dogs and his siblings. Alfie wants and needs proper training and therefore must have a family or person fully committed to spending time with him and training him properly. This will mean he becomes a well-balanced, sociable and polite puppy with impeccable manners.
Alfie has a soft and fluffy coat which will most probably need regular grooming with his nails trimmed regularly.
Alfie in brief:
* Working on house training, uses pee pads and grass
* Needs a safe and secure yard
* Needs a family home often whilst she is a puppy
* Kids over 8 please
* Not tested on cats, bunnies’ birds etc
In his new home Alfie would love:
* Fur friend, but not necessary.
* Doggy door to continue toilet training
* Yard to run and exercise in
* Daily walks
* A human who loves to snuggle, cuddle and kiss
Alfie's yard needs to be complete, ready for a puppy with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no small gaps in the fences or gates. Under the house must be blocked off, and no soft soil where he could dig out to escape. Please don’t underestimate the gap size a puppy can get through.
Alfie is in foster care in Ryde, Sydney. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter Region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing.
Alfie's adoption fee is $800, which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. Alfie has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
