About Jelly - 1 Year Old Chihuahua (On Trial)
Jelly is a sweet very active, one-year-old smooth coat Chihuahua weighing in at a perfect 4.5 kg. She has a heart full of love for both her people and fur siblings.
Jelly walks well on a lead and is a great little companion for strolls. Jelly has learnt the doggie door and enjoys taking herself outside and spending time there, so she would love a secure yard to play in. Once indoors, she loves energetic play time with her foster siblings and will also entertain herself with her toys. She loves a cuddle when it's time to settle. Jelly is a fantastic bed buddy and will happily curl up next to you or hop into her crate for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Jelly would ideally thrive with another small dog that loves to play, but could be an only dog if you are home most of the time and she would have the opportunity for regular dog socialisation.
She’s not a fan of cats, as she loves to chase them, so a feline-free home only. Jelly is a young pup and still learning, but she’s quick to pick up on new things! She’s already "fair weather" house-trained and doggy door trained. "Wet weather training" is a work in progress. She’s great in the car, so you can take her along on adventures with ease.
Jelly is enthusiastic to explore the outside world, so secure fencing with no gaps is a must and a security screen on your front door.
Jelly would benefit from puppy school to help her with those basic commands. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will snuggle, explore, and fill your life with joy, Jelly might be the perfect match for you!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
