About Roy
Roy is a 5-year-old brindle greyhound with a big personality and a loving heart. He absolutely adores humans and will happily steal your attention for a pat, snuggle, or belly rub. A real smoocher, Roy would love nothing more than to sit on your lap if given the chance!
Roy is a fit, energetic boy who loves to stay active. He would make an excellent jogging buddy and is always up for a walk or outdoor adventure. He’s a dream on the lead, responding attentively to instructions, and he manages steps with ease. Roy is also great in the car, making him the perfect companion for trips.
Roy loves his bed, though he’s not shy about sneaking onto the couch or a human bed for some extra snuggles. He does prefer his own space, so he’s not keen on sharing his bed with other dogs, but once settled, he loves his ‘safe space.’
This affectionate boy is eager to please and loves to learn from his humans. With a gentle hand, plenty of love, and lots of praise, Roy will quickly become your loyal companion. He would thrive with someone who is home often and can give him the attention he craves. Although he enjoys playing and walking with his greyhound and labrador buddies, Roy prefers to be the only dog in the household and will appreciate having all your attention to himself.
Loyal, mischievous, trusting, and gentle, Roy’s irresistible charm will steal your heart. He will adore you unconditionally and be your best friend for life.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
