About Jessie
Jessie is a sweet and affectionate 6-year-old Aussie Bulldog who thrives on love, companionship, and the simple joys of life. She absolutely adores curling up on the couch for a cozy nap, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Jessie is also a big fan of car rides, happily watching the world pass by from the comfort of an air-conditioned car.
This low-maintenance girl is happy to entertain herself with her toys when needed and is perfectly content being independent for short periods. She’s house trained, knows commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “drop,” and has excellent name recall—Jessie will come running when called! While she does have a tendency to bark from time to time, her foster family has been working on managing this behavior, and she's making great progress.
Jessie’s health is in excellent shape, although, like many Aussie Bulldogs, she’s sensitive to heat. She enjoys being exercised during cooler weather and is happiest with short walks. Jessie also has some skin folds under her arms that can get sore and itchy, so a little daily attention with Curash helps keep her comfortable.
While Jessie has shared her foster home with another dog, she would do best as the only pet in a household. Due to mistreatment as a puppy, Jessie can be nervous or reactive around unfamiliar animals. However, in the right home, she will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who finds joy in both quiet moments and life’s little adventures.
If you're looking for a calm, affectionate dog who enjoys cozy moments, car rides, and plenty of cuddles, Jessie is ready to bring endless love and joy into your life!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
