* Not food-motivated, so he'll need a patient and creative adopter to help him learn through other positive methods.
* Barks at visitors and if feels threatened, may be inclined to bite.
* Howls if left alone, making him a perfect match for someone who can provide plenty of companionship.

D'Artagnan would thrive with a retired person or someone who is home most of the time. He needs a patient and understanding adopter to continue his training and help him build confidence. While he's not yet a fan of toys or traditional training methods, his unique personality will shine with the right guidance.
