Loyal, affectionate, and always up for a snuggle, Babybel loves nothing more than spending time with her humans—whether it’s lounging on the couch, enjoying gentle pats, or simply following you around like a shadow.

As a Golden Retriever, Babybel embodies many of the wonderful traits the breed is known for. Goldens are famously loyal, loving, and intelligent, and Babybel is no exception! But as with all Goldens, she’ll need the right care and environment to truly shine.

Golden Retrievers are active, intelligent dogs who thrive in homes where they get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. While Babybel is more relaxed than your average pup, she’ll still need regular exercise and activities to keep her mind sharp and her tail wagging. Babybel enjoys a good balance of activity and relaxation. She loves her daily walks and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash, though a little more training will help her perfect it. When she’s not out and about, she’s perfectly content lounging at home, soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give.

While Babybel hasn’t been around children directly, she’s a gentle soul with a sweet temperament, so we believe she’d do well in a family environment.

Babybel is non-reactive to new dogs but does have a tendency to assert herself, which is common for ex-breeder females. She’d do well as the only dog in the house or with a calm, friendly male dog. Cats? Not her forte—she’s a bit too interested in them to make that pairing work!
