About Snoop
Snoop has the ‘big gentle giant’ nature without being a giant. He weighs in at a tidy 35kg and the biggest thing about him is probably his adorable boof head. This boy is all about the cuddles. He is so soft natured and just wants love. If there is someone around to cuddle, then he is right there beside them. Snoop doesn’t mind what you are doing, he just loves to be around you, keeping you company while you cook, garden, or accompany you on a car drive. In the evenings, he loves to curl up with you on the couch as well. Snoop is the type of dog that just oozes sweetness and wins you over straight away with his charm.
Snoop is still a young dog and enjoys his fun. He thoroughly enjoys going for a run around the paddock on his foster carer’s property in the country and loves to go for his lead walks around the suburbs as well. But once all the fun is over, he is content to chill out somewhere and enjoys lying in the sun. Snoop’s favourite toys are soft ones, and he carries them around the house (none have been destroyed either). Another thing this boy likes is water! He will run into water the first chance he gets.
Snoop has shown time and time again that he is a dog social boy. While in foster care, he has been living with an older large dog who he is very gentle with. At the pound, he was good with any of the other dogs he met. Snoop walks beautifully on lead and walks neutrally past other dogs without an issue. He will need a home who is able to give him some nice daily exercise and he would love to go on some cool adventures with his new owner(s) like hiking, camping or beach days. Snoop is an excellent traveller in the car and is happy to travel longer distances.
His foster carers report that Snoop is a relaxed and happy dog who is quite intelligent and wants to do the right thing. He learns quickly and already knows how to sit, shake and when called he comes as fast as he can. At home, Snoop has very good manners inside the house and is toilet trained. He sleeps throughout the night and is a calm dog to have around. Snoop is a good dog to alert you to someone coming onto your property as he will give a couple of barks to let you know. He has no issue being left home alone with the resident dog when his foster carers go out either.
We are looking for a dog savvy home for Snoop where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities. He can live with another friendly dog with a similar energy level, or as an only dog. Regardless, we will be looking for a home where someone is home more often than not as he gets so much pleasure from being by the side of his people. Snoop should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He is suitable to live with children who are confident with large dogs. You may have realised that everything in this profile is very positive – well, we honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this dog as he is just simply amazing. The first person to meet him will want to take him home without a doubt.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
