Cheerful and outgoing, with a real joy for life, Rye is as as zesty and wholesome as her name suggests!
The mere sight of a human - any human! - triggers non-stop purring and eager meowing for pats :)
This irresistible girl loves a good romp around with her toys and her siblings, but she's an amazing cuddler too. She gets especially flopping and smoochy when you hold like a baby!
Like all Maggie's pets, Rye is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with someone who'll enjoy spending plenty of time with me! I adore human company, especially when you join in on my fun and games.
Another playful cat or kitten to bond with and keep me entertained when you're not here would also be fantastic!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I snooze professionally as my day job, but you'll usually find me zooming around and swatting at passing ankles in my leisure time.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As I'm still a baby, kids that know how to interact with cats gently are welcome to apply - I'd love to be a part of your family!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A home with other nice cats, or even a small cat-friendly dog would be my dream!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
