About Jerry
Meet Jerry – a gentle soul with a quiet charm and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
My unique quirk = Give me a few chin scratches and watch me melt into your arms.
Jerry is a reserved and sensitive boy who takes comfort in the presence of other cats — especially his beloved brother, Tommy. Their bond is unbreakable, and their bromance is something truly special. While Jerry prefers observing the playful chaos of his brothers’ wrestling matches, he’s just as happy lounging in a sunny windowsill, watching the world drift by.
Though shy at first, Jerry has a soft and affectionate side that blooms beautifully once he feels safe. He’ll often curl up near you, quietly offering his love and trust. He enjoys gentle butt scratches and being petted along his silky, medium-length coat — especially his sandy-colored mane, which he wears with quiet pride.
Jerry takes a little longer to warm up to new people, but a calm, patient approach will help him slowly build confidence and form a meaningful bond. He’s not quite ready to claim a lap just yet, but lately, he’s been inching closer, softly purring as he gathers the courage to take that next step.
Having grown up with his siblings, mum, and three resident cats, Jerry is well-socialized and thrives in a home with feline companionship. Because he and Tommy are deeply bonded, they must be adopted together. *** No enquiries or applications will be accepted for Jerry to be adopted as a singleton.
Jerry is searching for a quiet, loving forever home that will give him the time and space he needs to come out of his shell. A household where someone is home often and is willing to patiently nurture his sweet, cuddly side would be ideal. BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.

Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please click here https://www.bigdollansfurrescue.org/pages/adopting to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
