About Muppet
"It's time to play the music, It's time to light the lights”
It's time to meet our Muppet !
This little scruffball, a mere 6kg of pure, unadulterated terrier chaos, is like a furry, four-legged whirlwind that’s come straight from the Australian outback to turn your world upside down… in the best possible way, of course.
Now, Muppet wasn’t always this happy-go-lucky little fella. He was plucked from the brink of disaster at a rural death row pound and brought to safety by the team here at Village Tails.
He is currently living it up at the delightful Julie’s place, getting all the TLC a man-sized heart can handle.
But, let’s not sugar coat it, this lad is a bit of a mess when it comes to his teeth. He has a mouth full of broken and decayed teeth and is booked in for dental surgery on January 20th before finally being unleashed on an unsuspecting world!
So we are looking for adoption interest before then - to ensure the perfect match is waiting for him.
Let's talk about Muppet's personality, shall we?
He’s a busy bee, always on the go, like he's got somewhere incredibly important to be, very, very quickly. He’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-him type of mover, always wanting to be right in the thick of things.
The vet reckons he could be about 7 years old, which is amazing considering his energy levels. This is no middle-aged man, believe us!
Walks? He's got the lead sorted... eventually, once the initial 100-miles-an-hour excitement passes that is.
Car rides? Some days he’s the epitome of chill, others, well, let's just say he likes to sing you the song of his people in anticipation of the adventure ahead. He's particularly keen to arrive at his destination so there's certainly no hanging around once you do – he’s out and off!
This little chap has zero fear – and we do mean zero. If you're not careful, he’ll be off like a shot and not looking where he's going. Think of him as a tiny, furry rocket: lead walks it is for Muppet please.
He does know his name and comes when called… most of the time. He is far more reliable when it comes to responding to a whistle.
Don't expect Muppet to be a lap dog, He does love a kiss and a cuddle and can be really affectionate but only once the fun and games have exhausted his little bones.
He's learning the joys of toys and is loving it. He absolutely adores his bed and is an angel all night, which is a blessed relief given his daytime energy levels. He is also entirely toilet trained. Plus, he’s not at all fussy when it comes to food – he eats it, end of story.
He is friendly with other dogs but can get a bit growly with the little ones - he thinks he's a big lad! If he's given the chance, he will bound straight up to bigger dogs wanting to be best mates forever.
This pocket rocket is also a total dream when it comes to medicine, baths, and grooming.
Now, for the ideal home for this little whirlwind. We reckon he’d be an absolute corker with a family with school-aged kids. While he is happy living with another dog, he doesn't require it, but any other dog would need to be a similar size and match his energy levels.
Muppet is currently living it up at Bribie Island. He’s desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, confirmed heartworm negative, and is bang up-to-date with all his flea, worm, and tick treatment.
His adoption fee is $695.
If you fancy a bit of chaos and loads of laughter in your life and think you can handle this pocket rocket, send us a detailed message telling us all about yourselves and the amazing home you can offer him. Be warned, Muppet is not for the faint-hearted – but he is guaranteed to fill your life with joy and endless entertainment
