About Penny

Meet Penny, a sweet little dog with a tender heart, hoping to find a new family to call her own. Although she had a challenging start in life, she has shown incredible resilience and a longing to give and receive love. Penny was previously part of a hoarding situation, living among many other dogs with limited human interaction. As a result, she's understandably a bit timid around new people at first. However, with patience, care, and a loving environment, Penny's confidence blossoms as she warms up to her surroundings.
Penny's foster carers have already witnessed glimpses of her playful side and predict that she will become an affectionate canine companion in time. She's shown encouraging signs, such as running up to them with her tail wagging to greet them, and using loving licks to express her affection. Though she is still a little scared of being picked up, her bravery and comfort are increasing each day.
Penny finds joy in life's simple pleasures: following her foster carers around the home, especially to her favorite spot—the kitchen, where she eagerly awaits the occasional treat. After a little adventure, you can find her contentedly snoozing on the lounge. Raised with multiple dogs in her previous environment, Penny truly thrives with canine companionship. It is crucial that her new home includes another friendly dog who can provide her with the guidance and friendship she craves. She enjoys going on walks with her foster sister and walks well on a leash.
Inside the home, Penny is well-mannered and not a barker. While toilet training is something she is still mastering, her ability to navigate a doggy door with ease shows she's making great progress. With a welcoming family willing to nurture her growth, Penny's sweet nature and budding playful side will undoubtedly flourish, creating a bond that will be both rewarding and heartwarming for all involved.
Penny is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
