About Goldie
Are you looking for a dog who’ll melt your heart with endless affection? Goldie is your girl! This loveable greyhound is a total cuddle queen. She’ll nudge you closer just to be near you, and her foster mom says she’s the most affectionate greyhound she’s ever met!
Goldie has had a rough start in life, having spent many years as a breeding dog in the racing industry and spending a lot of her time in kennels. But in foster care, she’s quickly discovered the joys of a cozy bed, regular meals, daily walks, and the simple pleasures of being part of a family. She’s been soaking up attention and love like a pro.
Though she’s enjoying apartment life and is used to lifts, Goldie has bursts of playfulness and would never say no to a yard where she can zoom around and soak up some sun. She’s learning quickly, with the help of her foster brother Ralph, who’s shown her how fun walks can be, now she’s an expert outside!
Goldie would thrive in a home with another greyhound or large breed dog, but she’d also be more than happy being the centre of attention as your one and only. She’s not quite used to being left alone for long stretches, so a home where someone is around more often would be perfect for her. Goldie is not suitable to live in a home with cats.
