About Maverick
Now this boy is a dream boat.
New in care, Maverick is a young, handsome 1 year old kelpie who has swooned him way into care. Being best mates with grumpy Louie, we can say Mav has been social with all dogs in foster care and out of the home that he has met.
Searching for a more active home, he is best suited to someone who is committed to the kelpie lifestyle. He can be a little shy at first meeting new things but quickly overcomes this and with time, we can see him being a confident little fella.
Untested with pocket pets and cats, we would suggest a home without these. And a home with kids who are over the age of 5 and dog savvy are best suited.
Mav could easily share a home with another dog of any size, but would be best with one who is happy to romp around with him and play. At least for some of the day.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
