About Pavlova
Sweet lil Pavlova is a petite, 9 week old black and tan kelpie girl, who is clever, cuddly and a joy to have around.
Pavlova loves other dogs, big or small, as well as the young kids in her foster home. She has tested really well with the free range chickens, and loves a splash in the paddle pool. Pav is very responsive and aims to please her people. She’s a clever puppy and is starting to learn to sit and come. Pavlova’s toilet training and crate training is going well and she is sleeping soundly in a crate overnight now.
Pavlov has tested as being a double carrier for early-onset CA. Please see medical notes below for further info. If she becomes affected, this will not stop her leading a happy, active companion life, but we need a special forever home for our sweet girl!
Pavlova is looking for a devoted forever family who can meet all of her typical working breed needs to ensure she grows up into a well adjusted adult dog. She also needs a special home who will love and care for her, regardless of whether she develops the slight CA tremors or not.
If you can give precious Pav her forever home, please apply via the link.
Pavlova is located in VIC.
Medical notes
Pavlova has tested as a double carrier for Cerebellar Abiotrohpy(CA) a kelpie genetic disorder, of the early-onset variety. Which means she is likely to be affected by it. Symptoms usually appear around the 4-8 week mark. She is not yet showing symptoms.
Early onset CA is non-degenerative, and symptoms include slight head tremors, a wider front gait and/or slight wobbles. This disease does not prevent a dog from living a happy, active-companion life. Their lifespan could be slightly less than that of a non affected dog, but so far we have adopted out pups who are still thriving at 10 years of age with early-onset CA.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
