About Irina
Meet Irina, a pint-sized companion with a heart big enough to fill your home with joy.
At just 2kg, Rina is a tiny Chihuahua with a lively personality.
Bringing Rina into your life means embracing her charming quirks and celebrating her distinctive character.
She eagerly awaits the moment you return home, ready to be your loyal little shadow and bring warmth and companionship to your days.
Rina may be small, but she certainly knows how to make her presence known. Her love for life is evident in her enthusiasm for walks and passion for squeaky toys and games of fetch.
Although her Chihuahua roots mean she can be a bit reactive to people or bikes passing by, this little lady is unperturbed by loud noises or storms, making her a surprisingly confident and easy-going friend.
While she adores human company she does take some time to warm to people, once she does you'll find a sweet and delightful companion in her.
Rina's protective nature over her toys and food adds to her charming personality.
Ideally, Rina would thrive in a calm home where she can either be the center of attention as the only pet or have a similar-sized, composed male dog friend.
Her new family should be prepared to give Rina the time and space she needs to adjust and settle into her forever home.
Bring Rina home, and you’ll quickly realize that her tiny stature is matched by an enormous amount of love, making her a truly special addition to the right family.
If you're ready for this unique journey with Rina, be sure to fill out her adoption application—she might just be the perfect match for you!
Medical notes
10 year old Irina is desexed and microchipped. She is up to date with her vaccinations as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
She has had all her dental work done which included all her remaining teeth being extracted due to dental disease. She can still eat just fine.
Upon arriving in care Irina had itchy feet, but she did benefit from a cytopoint injection. Her new owners will need to keep an eye on this moving forward and she may need regular injections or speak with your vet about other options for managing her allergies. She is a tiny 2kgs.
She has had a full health check including bloods and she is an otherwise healthy little girl.
