Nature
Claude is a very friendly, snuggly, curious boy who thrives on human company and attention. He follows you around like a little shadow, insisting on being part of every activity, and loudly requesting head bumps and scratches!

He leaves no stone unturned; open a cupboard door and he’s there, exploring every shelf. When he’s had enough adventure, he belly flops onto his side or snuggles in beside you, ready for scratches and attention.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
He hasn’t met children or dogs yet but given his confidence and curiosity he could be best friends with a calm kiddo or doggo.

With fellow cats, Claude can come on a bit strong in his friendship attempts. He’d do best with a confident, easy-going feline friend introduced slowly, or as your one-and-only cat receiving all the cuddles himself.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Claude is a fan of:
- Snuggling into your side or burrowing under the covers on cold nights
- Belly flops and gentle side scratches
- Investigating every nook and cranny, especially open cupboards and drawers
- Play sessions with feather/wand toys, balls, and string
- Vocal chats (he’ll let you know loudly when he wants food, pets, or play)

❌ Claude doesn't like:
- Being left out or ignored
- Closed doors that block his explorations
- Other cats who aren’t confident enough to handle his exuberant greetings

My PURR-fect home would be a loving household where I am never left out; someone ready to welcome my clingy, snuggly nature and include me in daily routines. A family or individual who can match my playful energy, offer patient and calm introductions if needed, and provide endless opportunities for playtime, cuddles, exploration, and conversation. I would love to have a window to watch the world go by, and an outdoor kitty enclosure would be perfect for me to explore.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Claude has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Claude will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
