Zeus - 21 Month Old Wolfhound X

Tall, Dark and Handsome!!

Zeus has the biggest heart and Zeus will give you his whole heart, full of love, forever! Zeus is devoted, cheerful and funny. Zeus is a big puppy, eager to please you. He has not experienced much of the outside world so he is learning how things work. He has learnt so much in a short time because he is very smart. He knows “sit and collar” means it’s outside time. He knows “wait” at the door before leaving, walk, stay, paw, down, drop and that’s just his basics. He is house-trained and low shedding.

Initially, Zeus is a shy boy but once he feels safe, he is so affectionate, loving and cuddly, with the well-known “wolfie lean”!

Zeus loves stuffed toys but he has a soft spot for his “squeaky bone”. He also likes his rope for tug and balls for chasing. He is so cute when he settles to suckle on his blanket, cause “he’s just a baby”.

Zeus loves his walks and going for a swim. He is learning to be braver every day with each new adventure. He does walk well on the head halti but can be distracted.

Zeus needs to be inside as one of the family, especially sleeping inside at night. His family must be home more than not (work from home or semi-retired or similar) because he has separation anxiety. He is currently having coaching for this and his new person will need to continue ongoing training. Zeus may adapt to a non-dominant, medium/large playmate, after a slow introduction. He has not yet learnt all the social doggie cues. Zeus could happily be an only dog. He needs a large yard and secure fencing.

Zeus really is intelligent and quick to learn. He would be great with older children as a playmate. A slow introduction is required for Zeus to adapt to his new loving family and home.

Zeus is in foster care in Mallabula, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $400, and he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms.
