About Blossom **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Meet Blossom! Untested with dogs.
This darling was surrendered to us when heavily pregnant and extremely underweight. Sadly it was her second litter (her first was when she was 6 months old!) and even worse all the babies ended up passing away because Blossom was malnourished during most of her pregnancy.
She has raised two very cheeky and very chubby surrogates (now weaned), but now she is ready for her own home where she can be loved and have no more babies!
Blossom was shy in foster care at first, but has blossomed into a super affectionate and confident lady. Instead of cowering away, she'll now hold her head high and go for what she wants (usually the foster carer's dinner).
She loves wet food and treats. The second wet food is out she does not want to share it with her surrogates (probably lingering behaviour from how underweight she was). If you give her treats she will adore you.
Blossom can be picked up and carried around with no issue. She's quite relaxed and indifferent about being hauled around. (As long as it's not stopping her getting treats).
She's good with other cats, but would be happy as an only cat. She'll tolerate being used as a jungle gym by kittens, but let them know she's not loving it by making hilarious meows at them- usually when the surrogates pounce on her tail.
Her original home had 14 year old boys who were a bit mean to her and the surviving kittens from the first litter, so she would be best with kids either side of that age to start with. Until she learns not all teens are bullies. (All she will do is hide).
