About Leela & Fry 👾
Fry and Leela are special pair of bonded kittens.
Fry has very low vision, but that does not slow him down in any way. He uses his whiskers & sound to navigate the world & also gains a lot of confidence from Leela's presence.
Fry is a super sweet boy, who loves a cuddle. For such a small baby, he can purr up a storm!
👾 goofy
👾 enthusiastic
👾 baking prodigy - full time biscuit maker since birth
Even with his limited vision, Fry enjoys "rough & tumble" with his sister, doing zoomies and playing with toys.
Leela is definitely more confident than Fry and leads the way when they're in a new environment.
👾 adventurous
👾 playful
👾 mischievous
Like most kittens, Leela loves to play, run and eat - with the occasional rest for pats and naps.
This brother and sister duo are looking for a home where they are the only animals as they have not been tested with other cats or with dogs.
Medical notes
Fry has very low vision, but is not completely blind. He can notice shapes and movement, but struggles significantly more when in the dark. Having low vision does not impact his quality of life, or his enjoyment.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
