About Osono
Osana is the epitome of grace and power, with all the majesty of a black panther wrapped in the compact body of a domestic short hair. At just 2 years old, she has grown into her full strength and personality, and she's ready to share her magnificence with her forever family!
Her sleek, midnight-black coat gives her a mysterious allure, while her piercing eyes reflect her confidence and curiosity. Osana is a true queen - she moves with the grace of a feline ruler, surveying her kingdom with pride.
Though she may appear intimidating at first, don't let her poise fool you! She's also playful and loves a good chase. Whether it's a feather toy or a laser pointer, Osana is ready to pounce and show off her hunting prowess. She may surprise you with moments of affection, offering a soft nuzzle or curling up beside you, proving that even the most majestic of creatures can have a gentle side.
Osana would thrive in a home where she can stretch her legs, explore, and rule her space in peace. She would prefer to be the queen of her castle, but would tolerate some other non-dominant pets. With her independent yet loving nature, Osana will quickly become a cherished companion for those who appreciate her royal ways.
If you're looking for a feline with the elegance of a panther and the charm of a smaller, more personable companion, Osana is the cat for you! Come meet her today and see just how majestic she truly is. 🖤
To book a meet and greet with Osana please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
