About Winnie
Meet Whimsical Winnie
This beautiful soft natured girl is 10 Months old and being absolutely true to her breed Winnie is a medium sized, affectionate and calm tempered. Winnie loves to relax in her own home. given any opportunity Winnie will curl up next to you whether its watching netflix together or reading a book in bed. Winnie does however demonstrate signs of anxiety, and is particularly sensitive and will need a family with NO children or cats and will definitely take time to warm up to her humans. Winnie would benefit from a home with another Dog companion and loves the other dogs here at the sanctuary. Winne suffers from Sleep Startle, this just means she is in a deep sleep and upon waking her you need to be soft and gentle, and let her know you are there before you start to pat her. Despite all this Whimsical Winnie has the potential and ability to thrive in a home that is best suited for her and her future.
Winnie will require a family who has knowledge of the breed or some knowledge of sight hounds, and must have the patience of a saint and soft hands like a cloud. If you are interested in meeting her please let the Waggy's team know.
Winnie is desexed, fully vaccinated microchipped, wormed and heart wormed.
Winnie will leave Waggy Tails with her very own Waggy Pack.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. 7 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from Waggy Tails.
4. Adoption is finalised after 7 day trial, Ownership and Microchip paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee can be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $250).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their co
