About Salem
Meet Salem, an all-black feline with a cheeky side and a flair for adventure. Named after the iconic feline from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," Salem is bursting with personality and enchanted curiosity. Her playful energy makes her the ultimate companion for anyone who appreciates a cat with character.
Salem has started to climb onto the sink in the bathroom to play with the running water. With her fun-loving spirit, she gets a kick out of chasing her ball around the house, and you'll often find her entranced by the motion of water in the shower.
But Salem isn't just bubbliness and bustle; she's also a loving lap cat who revels in the warmth of human company. She adores cuddles and will happily settle in for a cozy nap in your lap. Her friendly demeanor extends to everyone she meets, whether they have two legs or four. Whether you're surrounded by other cats, dogs, or children, Salem is eager to befriend all.
Her daily antics are matched by quirky interests, too. Salem's a true sports enthusiast – she's the only cat you’ll meet who enjoys watching a full football game on TV, completely invested in every goal and tackle. Her daring side showcases her adventurous spirit; she never hesitates to leap from a new surface or dip her head into your drink when you're not looking.
If you're searching for a cat who will keep you entertained, shower you with affection, and embrace everyone in your home, Salem is the perfect companion. Prepare to be charmed by this delightful little tom-boy who brings joy and companionship to every space she inhabits.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
