About Chunkzilla
Are you ready for a loyal, lovable, and slightly mischievous companion? Meet Chunkzilla, a 19-month-old English Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is ready to take over your heart-and your couch!
This beautiful girl may have a name inspired by the misunderstood giants of monster lore, but don't be fooled-Chunkzilla is all about affection, fun, and loyalty. Despite her larger-than-life personality, she's eager to please, and has a heart of gold. Whether she's zooming around your living room or curling up at the foot of your bed to keep your feet warm, Chunkzilla will make your house feel like a home.
Ready to invade small lounge rooms, she'll happily take over your couch and turn charcuterie boards into a delicious disaster. She loves to play, making you laugh with her goofy antics!
Chunkzilla is a social creature who enjoys being around people, but she also values her own space. She'd thrive best as the only dog in the household, where she can get all the attention (and treats!).
his girl would be perfect in a home with teenage kids who can keep up with her energy and give her the space she craves. She's a good mix of fun and independence, making her a great addition to a loving family. She's all about cuddles and companionship. Expect warm snuggles and unconditional love.
She may be named after a monster, but in reality, she's the perfect balance of affection and adventure. If you're ready for a dog who will shower you with love, loyalty, and fun, Chunkzilla is the girl for you!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
