About Snickers
Are you looking for a fun loving cheeky loving girl who loves a play but also loves her humans and is looking for her best friend to follow around and hang with and just keep you company........... well, if you are ................
meet me!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is Snickers and I've come into care thru a private surrender when the other dog (and cat) did not like me being there..... the rescue has completed all my vet work and helped me gain confidence with playing with other dogs and oh boy do I love having play friends now
I am a French Bulldog x Chihuahua and I am currently 5 months and 2 weeks old
My foster mum says I'm a sweet little girl who loves life and loves my friends (the 2- and 4-legged kind!)
I am one of those little ones that loves do everything with a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye - especially as I have two different colored eyes - she said it's usually the blue one with the twinkle!
I have been told I am a fun, young happy girl who loves play time and fun.
I came into care and did need some help with some of my manners, but that is because I was young and unsure and my foster mum says that often my butt wiggles means I distract myself but I'm learning! I have learnt sit and love to play well with my fur friends.
I am learning to walk on a lead and that is fun and exciting to see so many different things!
I love being a part of the family – up in your grill, on your lap and just basically anywhere the family is as fun is to be had!
I am currently with other dogs in care and would happily be in a home with another dog who would let me play with them and hang out with them and of course snooze with them when they are napping.
My foster parents work out of home a few days a week and I'm good with that, but they do make sure that I have other dog friends to pay with, toys and access inside and outside to play.
I am happy to play and live with kids - especially if they want to play with me in the backyard.
I currently sleep in the loungeroom with another dog or two and have access to an open crate to snooze in when I want to just have some quiet time, however I would love to sleep on a human bed if I was allowed.
At night I also love to sleep on one of my humans feet while they watch tv.
I am toilet trained but may have a accident or two while I'm learning my new home
I have lived with a cat who was not happy living with me so now i do warily watch the cat that walks the fence at my foster mum's home and she says that she is wary of my living with one.
I would love a fur ever family! Please apply!

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
