In a world where love, cuddles and smooches can change the course of your day and having a companion that always wants to make you smile Siggy is the one to be an ambassador of kindness and affection .
Siggy is a 1 year old 3,8 kilo Goldendoodle girl who despite her challenge shows everyone ANYTHING can be overcome with determination, as she was actually born with no sight . Siggy is the most loving and affectionate little girl who will shower you with her kisses { lizard tongue } lol and make sure you know just how special you are to her.
Now, Siggy does not and has never known any difference so her other senses are hearing . small and touch have worked very hard in their development to work extremely well and our precious little girl has learnt to adapt to her foster home environment and all the world has to offer like a pro.
Sweet little Siggy is such a problem solver and uses her sense of touch and smell to easily understand the map of the house and once she has “mapped” her surroundings she moves around with absolute ease.
When excited our amazing little girl will do the circus poodle bounce up and down on the spot with such enthusiasm to make you laugh
She does not jump on furniture but waits till you are seated on the couch to then jump up for a cuddle and snuggle.She then needs to be placed down as for obvious reasons would hurt herself if she was left to get down on her own.
We feel a house with stairs would be a challenge for our little girl
She knows where her little bed is and each night puts herself to bed when she is ready for a good night's sleep.
Siggy knows where her food and water are and maintains herself with hydration and when it's dinner time she comes over and waits by her bowl for her food.
She is in a home with cats and obviously can smell them and pays no attention at all
She has great interactions with other dogs and will even wrestle with another little dog but if another dog is in residence we are seeking a gentle smaller sizer dog that will not knock her around .
Siggy uses her hearing and listens to everything so she follows your voice to understand where you are and when you call her to find you .
She enjoys a bath and will happily sit quietly while you give her a wash
Siggy is still working out her tillet training and can use her little paw to work out the door to come inside but still needs a human to take her out
She happily spend time outside but will mostly stay close to the door area peeking inside the glass for you to let her in as she much prefers thi lol
She confidently wanders around the house keeping herself entertained and even stealing the odd shoe to play with lol but she also enjoys soft toys to play with .
Siggy obviously is not walking on lead kinda dog so when taking a stroll you would be best having her in a backpack or carry or even a stroller.
Siggy does not need you to watch her 24/7 as once she has mapped out her surroundings it is perfectly fine to be left alone while you are out and about. She does adore her humans so much so if you work long days and she would be all alone for extended hours we don't feel that would be fair on her.
As Siggy is so small and cannot see she can be easily tripped over as she cant “ just out of the way” while you are walking around the house so we are NOT seeking a home with small children or senior mobility unstable adults who this could be a challenge for
Adoption Criteria:
A home that will allow her to be an indoor girl but have somewhere with grass for her to toilet and spend time outside
Secure fencing is non negotiable
We are not seeking a home with unsecured stairs for obvious reasons
A home that does not have constant obstacles moving around inside the home
Narla would love the company of another playful little dog but we would be seeking a kind and gentle little dog who will not knock her over
If there are children in the home, they should be dog savvy and love little dogs and have kind and gentle disposition
A home with cats is fine
A home that can give her that little bit more of tiny more amount extra care than an average dog requires
A home that will love and cherish our sweet princess for the rest of her life.
