Introducing Ranger – (previously known as #099)

This handsome chap is now ready to find his forever family.

You might remember him from The Village's "Let Them Know It's Christmas" Appeal; he was one of the lucky ones rescued from a death-row pound on our Christmas transport run, making it out just in time for the holidays.

This little man arrived with no fuss at all. He was perfectly behaved in the pound, a model passenger on transport, and has continued to be a complete sweetheart since arriving at The Village. He quite simply hasn't put a paw wrong!

Ranger is a gorgeous Blue Cattle Dog, and his pound notes described him simply as: "099 – M ACD blue x black blue white approx. 1 year. Bought in by a traveller found on edge of town. Nice friendly boy. Relaxed for an ACD boy.”

But as they always are – he is so much more than that.

He's currently in the wonderful care of his foster mum, Sallyanne, who describes him as an absolute diamond of a dog. He is smart, affectionate, and loves to play. While his recall is still a work in progress, he's doing brilliantly. He gets on beautifully with other dogs, is good around horses, and has plenty of energy to burn. He would really thrive in an active home.

Ranger is also house-trained, travels well in the car, and loves nothing more than a good run. He sleeps soundly all night, too. He's simply a sweet, good boy who needs an active family who will continue with his training.

He has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is up to date with his flea and worm treatments. He is currently being fostered in Cooroibah on the Sunshine Coast.

His adoption fee is $595.
