Ralph

Please meet our new boy, Ralph.

Ralph is a beautiful, gentle boy, who's ready to start his new 'forever' life. A 'forever' life, for a kitten who has been well looked after, means approx.15 years, therefore this is a huge commitment that must be carefully considered. Ralph arrived at the RSPCA as a tiny 5 week old kitten weighing .5 kg. His other brother (Wally) and his sister (Paisley) came with him and the siblings have been cared for by wonderful volunteers in our foster system.

Ralph is playful fellow with medium-length ginger fur with adorable tufts of hair poking out of his ears. He's a bit timid, however it takes no time at all for his little purr motor to start up in his body and enjoy some gentle cuddles.

LOVING HOUSEHOLD - We are seeking loving human companions for him, who will treat him like a member of their family. Most kittens are very adaptable and we see Ralph living with cat-savvy, gentle children, another cat and perhaps a dog, if he is helped co-habit with them.

LIFESTYLE - Ralph and his 2 siblings were stray kittens initially with lots of knots and mats in their fur coats. With that history, an indoor lifestyle is an absolute must for Ralph, as venturing outside will shorten his life by many years. Most cats have an instinct to kill wildlife and it's necessary for the cat guardians to be responsible with their choices. A couple of cat scratchers (near windows and also where people gather) are necessary to keep Ralph's nails healthy and prevent furniture scratching. Nice comfy cat-beds with good views will also be appreciated by Ralph. Toys - well Ralph will just love toys!

AN EXCELLENT DIET - This is one of high-quality dry biscuits, wet food and bowls of fresh, cool water. All these items are important to keep his body and coat healthy. Regular visits to the vet are essential.

A LAUNCH AREA - Ralph is an easy going boy who needs to feel safe, and a launch area will make it a seamless transition into his new home. This is a quiet area (bedroom or crate), where he has access to all his essentials (bed, food, water, bedding, toilet tray and toys). He can chill out in this space if the need arises.
