Our stunning German Shepherd boy MAX is ready to start looking for a loving home that is invested in further training.
Max is a smart, human focussed, water loving 18 month old (DOB 10/06/2023) desexed male. Max loves having very regular play dates with other dogs or living with another active dog.
Max is true to the shepherd breed so needs a home with someone familiar with this breeds needs and quirks. He is a very smart boy and super keen to learn.
Max is in foster care with another dog and two cats that are dog savvy and strongly teaching him Cats Rule 😅. Max has good basic obedience but would benefit from refining some of these skills and learning more.
Max needs a home dedicated to his mental and physical stimulation. He is not a "throw in the backyard and give him a short walk each day" type of dog. Max thrives on human attention and engagement. Max wants and deserves to be very much a part of his new family's life and daily activities.
Max has been flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Max currently has a bit of a pink reaction on his skin and is scratching a bit. We are currently working through this. We believe it is a grass reaction.
Max's adoption fee is $650.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
