About Pumpkin
Pumpkin, or “Punky” as he’s lovingly known, is a gentle, affectionate soul who is ready to find his forever family. This beautiful boy came into our care from a testing facility last November, and he’s been thriving ever since. His days are filled with snuggles, playtime, and lots of love.
Punky may be a little shy when he moves into his forever home, but we are happy to provide his new family with Zylkene and Feliway to help ease the transition.
Punky is an absolute gem. He’s fantastic with cat-friendly dogs and is happy to share his space with other friendly cats. His foster family describes him as one of the sweetest cats they’ve ever had the pleasure of caring for.
Pumpkin requires an indoor-only home, with any outdoor access limited to a secure cat enclosure. He’s perfectly content with this setup and loves the cozy safety of home.
Punky does have diabetes, but this doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s a champ about his twice-daily insulin injections and has stable blood glucose levels. Our vets have cleared him for adoption, and his condition is well-managed. Plus, we’ll cover the cost of his insulin for life, and additional support can be provided if needed.
Pumpkin is more than ready to start his next chapter. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring endless joy to your home, Punky might just be the perfect fit.
Could you be the family to give Pumpkin the love and life he deserves? Apply today to meet this wonderful boy!
Medical notes
Pumpkin has Diabetes, his diabetes is well controlled with insulin and diabetic food. Pumpkin has insulin x 2 daily and his new family will need to be confident to administer his insulin.
We will provide his insulin for life and can assist with other needs if required.
A pre adoption consult can be organised at our vet clinic to discuss Punky's medical care, which will be at no cost to the adopter.
